  In order to ensure that the analytical test results have a certain degree of accuracy, comparability and consistency, a substance used to calibrate the instrument, calibrate the concentration of the solution and evaluate the analytical method is often required. This substance is called a reference substance. The reference substance requires uniform material, stable performance, mass production, accurate value determination, and a reference substance certificate.
  Classification of reference materials: generally divided into two grades.secondary reference materialThe code name is GBW (E).secondary reference materialLevel 2 reference materials are often referred to as working reference materials and are mainly used for working standards and quality assurance within the same laboratory or between different laboratories.
  Our country divides standard substances into 13 categories according to the commonly used international classification methods:
  ① steel;
  ② Non-ferrous metals;
  ③ Building materials;
  ④ Nuclear materials and radioactivity;
  ⑤ Polymer materials;
  Chemical products;
  The geology;
  The environment;
  Clinical chemistry and medicine.
  The food;
  The energy;
  Engineering technology;
  Physics and physical chemistry.

  Uses of reference materials:
  For calibrating analytical instruments
  For evaluation and analysis, the specific method: add a known amount of reference material to the tested sample, and then perform a control test to calculate the collection rate of the reference material. According to the collection rate, it is judged whether there is a systematic error in the analysis process and the accuracy of the method.
  It is used for quality assurance within or between laboratories. Reference materials have other uses, such as making standard curves, formulating standard inspection methods, and product quality arbitration.
