Tongque Tai is located 18 kilometers southwest of Linzhang County, Handan City, Hebei Province. It is a national key cultural relics protection unit. It was called Ye in ancient times. Ancient Ye City was first built during the Spring and Autumn Period when Duke Huan of Qi. During the Three Kingdoms period, Cao Cao defeated Yuan Shao and built Tongque, Golden Tiger, and Bingjing, which are called "Ye Santai" in historical books. It is the birthplace of Jian'an literature. It is 10 feet high and has more than 100 houses. It is famous for the many famous poems of the past dynasties.
In the winter of the fifteenth year (210 years) of Jianan, Cao Cao built the Tongque Terrace. "Water Classic Note · Volume 5 · Turbid Zhangshui" records: In the northwest corner of Yecheng, based on the wall, the platform was ten feet high, and there were more than a hundred houses. Wei Wu looked to the emperor of Chang to rule the office. Yan Cai rebelled and attacked the gate of Ye. Wang Xiu heard the change and led his subordinates to rush to the palace gate to rescue. Cao Cao saw it on the Tongque Terrace and said, "Whoever comes will be ruled by the uncle of the king." (Wang Xiuzi Shuzhi) From this record, the Tongque Terrace is not only a place where Cao Cao and the guests drank banquets and wrote poems, but also an important place for combat readiness.
According to the "Romance of the Three Kingdoms · Wei Zhi": The Tongque Pavilion is newly completed, and the public will put all the sons on it, so that each will be a Fu. The second son Cao Zhi, who was quick-witted, helped the pen to stand up, and wrote the "Fu on the Stage", which is passed down as a beautiful talk. He is very different. His outline said: "When you see the wide opening of the heavenly palace, you can see the new camp of holy virtue. When you build a high hall, you can build a high hall, and you can see the floating double tower in the Taiqing Dynasty. When you stand up to the sky, you can see the splendor, and you can even fly the pavilion in the west city. When you are in the long stream of the Zhangchuan River, you can see the glory of all the fruits. I look up to the spring breeze and Muxi, and listen to the mourning of the birds." Cao Pi, Emperor Wei Wen, also
Cao Cao redeemed Cai Wenji, a famous female poet at the end of the Han Dynasty, with a large sum of money from the Xiongnu, met her at the Tongque Terrace and entertained her, and made her sing his famous work "Eighteen Beats of Hu Jia". The Tongque Terrace and the Tongque Garden on its east side are a paradise for the creative activities of the literati under Ye Xia.
The Tongque Terrace is located in the middle of the three platforms, 60 steps away from the Golden Tiger Terrace in the south and the Ice Well Terrace in the north. The middle is connected by a pavilion-style pontoon bridge, "Shi, if the three platforms are connected, if they are abandoned, the center will be suspended."
After the sixteen kingdoms, when Zhao Shihu, on the basis of Cao Wei's ten feet high, he added another two feet, and built five floors on it, fifteen feet high, a total of twenty-seven feet to the ground. It is majestically exalted, and its height is as high as a mountain. The windows are covered and decorated with copper, and when the sun rises, the streamer shines. It is also made of bronze sparrows on the roof, one foot and five feet high, with comfortable wings like flying. "Ye Zhongji" states: During the time of the Shihu, there were one hundred and twenty halls in the Tongque Bird Terrace, and there were women's prisons and female prostitutes in the rooms. On the main hall, a royal bed was installed, and a Shu brocade fringe tent was hung, and a gold dragon head was set at the four corners, and a five-color tassel Two more wells were dug at Tongque Terrace. The two wells were connected by iron beam tunnels, called "Mingzi Cave", which stored a lot of treasures and food. In the ninth year of Tianbao in the Northern Qi Dynasty (558 AD), 300,000 craftsmen were expropriated and three sets were overhauled. After the renovation, Tongque Terrace was renamed Jinfengtai. The Tang Dynasty restored the old name.
At the end of the Yuan Dynasty, the Tongque Terrace was washed away by Zhang Shui, and there were still more than 160 steps around, five feet high, and Yongning Temple was built. In the middle of the Ming Dynasty, three platforms still existed. At the end of the Ming Dynasty, most of the Tongque Terrace was washed away by Zhang Shui.
This station is well-known at home and abroad, and there are many memorials by celebrities in previous dynasties. Among them, the Tang Dynasty poet Du Mu once wrote a famous sentence in his "Tongque Platform Nostalgia for Ancient Times": "The east wind is not with Zhou Lang, and the bronze bird spring is deeply locked in Erqiao".
