30 people slapped girls in the face of school violence
Recently, a news of 30 people slapping girls attracted the attention of netizens, who lamented why school violence was repeatedly banned. It is reported that the reason why these 30 people beat people was because the girls accidentally took pictures of them. During the whole process, Xiaoli, the girl who was beaten, kept saying sorry.
Xiaoli (a pseudonym), a girl in the third year of junior high school in Beijing, took a photo of Ruoruo (a pseudonym), a girl in the first year of high school in the school. After deleting the photo and apologizing, Xiaoli was slapped in the face by more than 30 people gathered by Ruoruo. Yesterday, the Haidian court publicly sentenced three of the attackers, Liu, Wu and Jia, to fixed-term imprisonment of 8 months, 6 months and 7 months respectively for the crime of picking quarrels and provoking trouble.

The third-year girl was surrounded and slapped in the face
On April 18, 2015, a video on the Internet aroused great social attention. The video showed a girl wearing a school uniform in Beijing being slapped repeatedly by other girls and boys wearing school uniforms, with screams mixed in between, "Don't slap this side, this side is swollen, slap the other side", "Tell her what the underworld is."
It is understood that Xiaoli was only 15 years old at the time of the incident. According to a freshman boy at the school who later said that about a few days ago, Xiaoli, a girl who was beaten, used her mobile phone to capture him outside the school. If she accidentally captured the freshman girl in the mirror, the two sides caused a conflict. "She deleted the photo at that time and apologized, but it was useless." The location of the beating was not far from the school. At that time, more than 30 students surrounded Xiaoli. "At the beginning, a student from another school came up and slapped her first, and then a boy added fuel and vinegar and suggested that one person slap her twice." The boy said that in the end, five or six girls took turns, each of them slapped twice and "kicked her chest." During the whole process, Xiaoli kept saying sorry.

Three beating students were each sentenced
According to the Haidian court, the beating incident took place at about 17:00 on April 16, 2015, near Ziyu Mansion on the north side of the aquarium. The girls who beat Xiaoli, Liu, Wu and Jia, were all 18 years old. On April 18, 2015, after being notified by the public security police by phone, three people took the initiative to surrender. The three people and some minor co-perpetrators obtained Xiaoli's understanding through financial compensation and apology.
The Haidian court held that because the case took place around the campus, it was a typical case of campus violence. After the incident, some videos were uploaded to the Internet, which aroused widespread concern in society about campus violence cases. The three people beat minors without reason, and the circumstances were egregious, and their actions all constituted the crime of picking quarrels and provoking trouble. Considering that the three people had the circumstances of surrendering and obtaining forgiveness, and combined with their respective roles in the case, Liu, Wu and Jia were finally sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of 8 months, 6 months and 7 months respectively.

Call on the Education Commission to prevent school violence from its source
The Haidian court held that the case was triggered by a trivial dispute between minor students, but the two parties did not take proper measures to handle the conflict, but instead took extreme measures to deal with it, causing the conflict to escalate and making it a case of campus violence with bad influence.
It is understood that the Haidian court combined the situation of many primary and secondary schools to explore the prevention mechanism of school violence. The court believes that the repeated prohibition of school violence is mainly due to the lack of standardized education of parents on their children's behavior since childhood. After children have conflicts with others, parents often take extreme methods such as protection to solve them, resulting in the strengthening of children's bad behavior habits. Judges go deep into schools and communities to provide parents with family education guidance, guide parents to educate their children on rules and bottom lines, and cultivate children's sense of responsibility.
According to another report, at present, 37 police officers from Haidian Court have served as the legal vice principals of primary and secondary schools. They have walked into the campus to give lectures to students. The content takes campus violence prevention as an example, covering psychology, sociology, criminology, etc. The court has also established a "school-related case notification" system in conjunction with the Education Commission and schools to train school security and moral education personnel to prevent campus violence. Teachers and students are invited to the court to participate in educational activities, observe trials and hold mock courts.
It is understood that the Haidian court will also send judicial advice to the Haidian District Education Commission, calling on the Education Commission to focus on the prevention of student bullying and violence thematic education series activities, so that students can clearly recognize that personal words and deeds must abide by the basic legal boundaries and behavioral bottom line, and eliminate the misunderstanding that minors do not need to take any responsibility for illegal crimes. Mobilize primary and secondary schools to strengthen family education guidance, guide parents to strengthen the discipline of their children, pay attention to children's ideological and moral education and good behavior habits cultivation, and prevent students from bullying and violence from the source.
