Three beating students were each sentenced
According to the Haidian court, the beating incident took place at about 17:00 on April 16, 2015, near Ziyu Mansion on the north side of the aquarium. The girls who beat Xiaoli, Liu, Wu and Jia, were all 18 years old. On April 18, 2015, after being notified by the public security police by phone, three people took the initiative to surrender. The three people and some minor co-perpetrators obtained Xiaoli's understanding through financial compensation and apology.
The Haidian court held that because the case took place around the campus, it was a typical case of campus violence.
