Boy earns 17 million netizens Mom: Look
Harvey Millington, a 14-year-old boy in Taunton, Somerset, England, has made thousands of paper tax form reminder CDs with the help of his father when he was 13 years old, pasted on the windshield of the car, aiming to remind people of the tax payment date. He also bought a Mercedes smart car for advertising. In more than a year, he sold nearly 25,000 paper tax form reminder CDs at the price of 4 pounds each (about 34 yuan), earning 100,000 pounds easily.
After receiving the funds, Harvey bought three acres (about 1.2 hectares) of land for 40,000 pounds (about 340,000 yuan). Shortly after, a real estate developer offered Harvey 2 million pounds (about 17 million yuan), saying he wanted to buy the land. Harvey said: "At first, I wasn't sure how much he would bid. But when he came, he came with 2 million pounds. It was a huge asset for me and I had no reason to turn him down."
Harvey's father said his son was smart, down-to-earth and a great businessperson. His next investment target will be the go-kart market.
