63132-77-4 - brief introduction
N- (3-bromopropyl) methylsulfonamide is an organic compound.Nature:
N- (3-bromopropyl) methanesulfonamide is a white crystalline solid with a special odor. It has high thermal stability and is soluble in some polar solvents such as alcohols and ketones. The compound has a density of 1.57 g/cm ³.
Purpose:
N- (3-bromopropyl) methylsulfonamide can be used as an intermediate in organic synthesis. It can also be used in the synthesis of polymer materials and the preparation of dyes and pesticides.
Production method:
N- (3-bromopropyl) methanesulfonamide is obtained by reacting 3-bromopropylamine with methanesulfonyl chloride. React 3-bromopropylamine with an alkaline solution to form the corresponding amine salt. The amine salt is then reacted with methanesulfonyl chloride to form N- (3-bromopropyl) methanesulfonamide products.
Safety information:
N- (3-bromopropyl) methanesulfonamide should be used and stored with care to avoid contact with strong oxidizing agents and high temperatures to avoid the danger of fire and explosion. Appropriate protective gear such as goggles, gloves and protective clothing should be worn during operation. The compound has limited toxicity and irritation but should still be properly managed and used.Last Updated: 2024-04-09 21:01:54
