[Inspection principle]
Hank's balanced salt creates a neutral environment; bovine serum albumin acts as a protein stabilizer to increase the survival time and infection stability of the virus together with Hank's balanced salt; antibiotics have broad-spectrum antibacterial effects; phenol red is an acid-base indicator, with a pH value of 6.6 (yellow) to 8.0 (red) in the discoloration area, and appears red at a pH value of 7.2 to 7.4.

[Sample requirements]
Specimens should be transported to the corresponding laboratory within 2 working days after collection, and the storage temperature should be 2-8 ° C. If they cannot be delivered to the laboratory within 48h, they should be stored at -70 ° C or below, and the collected samples should be guaranteed to be delivered to the corresponding laboratory within 1 week. Specimens should be avoided from repeated freezing and thawing.
[How to use]
1. According to the sampling requirements, collect the sample with a sampling swab.
2. Place the sample swab after collection into a sterile sampling tube.
3. Break the swab at the breakable point of the sampling swab rod and discard the tail.
4. Tighten the cover of the sterile sampling tube.
5. Mark the information on the label of the sterile sampling tube as required.
6. After collection, the specimen should be transported to the corresponding influenza surveillance network laboratory within 2 working days, and the storage temperature should be 2-8 ° C. If it cannot be delivered to the laboratory within 48h, it should be stored at -70 ° C or below, and ensure that the collected specimen is delivered to the corresponding network laboratory within 1 week. Specimens should be avoided from repeated freezing and thawing.

2) Nasal swab specimen: Use a special sampling swab, gently insert the swab head into the nasal palate in the nasal tract, stay for a while, and then slowly rotate and exit; quickly immerse the swab head in the sampling liquid, break the swab at the frangiable cut-off point of the sampling swab rod, and discard the tail.
