(S)-腺苷环3',5'-(硫代磷酸氢根)三乙铵是cAMP依赖性蛋白激酶(PKA)(cAMP激动剂)的激活剂。与N6,O2'-二丁酰腺苷3',5'-环一磷酸(dibutyryl-cAMP)或8-溴腺苷-3',5'-环一磷酸(8-Br-cAMP)相比,对环状核苷酸依赖性磷酸二酯酶的抵抗力高得多)。没有新陈代谢的副作用,并且在许多生物系统中都是膜可渗透的。也建议作为Epac的激活剂(cAMP调节的鸟嘌呤核苷酸交换因子)。 (S)-Adenosine, cyclic 3',5'-(hydrogenphosphorothioate) triethylammonium is an activator of cAMP-dependent protein kinase (PKA) (cAMP agonist). Considerably higher resistance against cyclic nucleotide-dependent phosphodiesterases as compared to N6,O2'-dibutyryladenosine 3',5'-cyclic monophosphate (dibutyryl-cAMP) or 8-bromoadenosine-3',5'-cyclic monophosphate (8-Br-cAMP). There are no metabolic side effects and it is membrane permeable in many biological systems. Also suggested as an activator of Epac (cAMP-regulated guanine nucleotide exchange factor).
