CAS number:1254044-41-1    molecular formula:C28H27BrNO3P

overview

compound introduction

Mito-apocynin (C2), an orally active mitochondria-targeted triphenylphosphonium (TPP)-based compound, is synthesized by conjugating the Apocynin moiety with a TPP + cation. Mito-apocynin (C2) exhibits antineuroinflammatory effect. In Vivo Mito-apocynin (C2) (3 mg/kg; p.o.; daily for 12 days) exhibits antineuroinflammatory effect . MCE has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only. Animal Model: MPTP mice model of Parkinson’s Disease Dosage: 3 mg/kg Administration: Oral gavage; daily for 12 days Result: Significantly attenuated MPTP-induced glial cell activation, proinflammatory cytokine upregulation, inducible nitric oxide synthase, and NOX2 components (gp91phox). Form:Solid
