Thiol-PEG-CH2COOH, MW 20K is a PEG derivative with an attached thiol and terminal carboxylic acid group. The thiol group can further react with maleimides, disulfides, haloactemides and thiols. The terminal carboxylic acid group can react with primary amines in the presence of activators such as EDC and DCC, to form a stable amide bond.
