Bio-AMS (TFA) is a potent bacterial biotin protein ligase inhibitor. Bio-AMS (TFA) possesses selective activity against Mycobacterium tuberculosis ( Mtb ) and arrests fatty acid and lipid biosynthesis. Appearance:Solid IC50& Target:Biotin protein ligase In Vitro:Bio-AMS possesses excellent antitubercular activity against Mtb H37Rv and MDR/XDR-TB strains with MICs ranging from 0.16 to 0.625 μM and is not affected by changes to the primary carbon source. Bio-AMS (2.5, 5 and 10 μM; 24 h) inhibits growth of Mtb Biological Activity:Bio-AMS (TFA) is a potent bacterial biotin protein ligase inhibitor.
