Clerodendrin is a nature product could be isolated from Lobelia chinensis. Clerodendrin is a potent dual Interleukin-4 (IL-4) inhibitor and β-hexosaminidase (Hex) inhibitor. In Vitro Clerodendrin (10 μM; 1 and 3 h) inhibits IL-4 mRNA expression and the release of β-hexosaminidase in Propidium Iodide -induced RBL-2H3 cells.
