It is generally not used in PCR with proofreading DNA polymerase.dITP cannot replace dGTP completely in PCR mix. Otherwise, DNA amplification will be inhibited significantly. It is recommended to replace10% dGTP by dITP in PCR mix. For example, dNTP/dITP Mixture (2.5mM each + 0.25mM dITP) can be used in PCR with high fidelity DNA polymerase .The molecular formula of dITP is C10H12N4O13P3Na3 with a molecular weight of 558.11 (492.1 in acid form).This dITP solution is prepared with ultrapure water to a concentration of 100mM. The pH is titrated to 7.0-7.5 with high-purity NaOH solution.This product is free of DNase, RNase, phosphatase and protease, and can be directly used for different molecular biology applications.
