Information Pteryxin Pteryxin ((+)-Pteryxin), a dihydropyranocoumarin derivative found in Apiaceae family, is a potent inhibitor of butyrylcholinesterase (BChE) with IC50 of 12.96 μg/ml. Pteryxin inhibits LPS-induced nitric oxide production in mouse peritoneal macrophages with IC50 of 20 µM. Pteryxin is potential for Alzheimer's disease (AD) treatment.
