Fmoc-NH-ethyl-SS-propionic NHS ester contains an Fmoc protecting group and an NHS ester moiety. The Fmoc protecting group can be removed under basic condition to obtain the free amine which can be used for further conjugations. The NHS esters can be used to label the primary amines (-NH2) of proteins, amine-modified oligonucleotides, and other amine-containing molecules.
