NSC 95397 has IC50 of 22.3 nM, 56.9 nM and 125 nM for human Cdc25A, human Cdc25C and Cdc25B, respectively. NSC 95397 inhibits mitogen-activated protein kinase phosphatase-1 (MKP-1) and suppresses proliferation and induces apoptosis in colon cancer cells through MKP-1 and ERK1/2 pathway.
