Amino-PEG3-sulfonic acid HCl salt are PEG derivatives containing an amine group and a sulfonic acid moiety. The amine group can react with carboxylic acids, activated NHS esters and other carbonyl groups. The sulfonic acid can undergo esterification, halogenation and displacement reactions. The hydrophilic PEG linkers increase the water solubility of the compound in aqueous media.
