Avasopasem manganese (GC4419; M-40419) is a potent superoxide dismutase mimetic that rapidly and specifically converts O 2 *- to hydrogen peroxide (H 2 O 2 ), arresting the initiation of this cascade. Avasopasem manganese can be used for the research of severe oral mucositis (SOM) and cancer. In Vivo Avasopasem manganese is an agent intended to interrupt severe oral mucositis pathogenesis, to reduce the duration, incidence, and severity of radiation-induced oral mucositis . MCE has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only. Form:Solid
