SPDP-PEG11-azide is a PEG linker with SPDP and azide functional groups. The SPDP is an amine and thiol reactive crosslinker. It is also membrane permeable, allowing it to participate in intracellular crosslinking reactions. The azide group can react with alkyne, BCN, DBCO via Click Chemistry to yield a stable triazole linkage. The hydrophilic PEG linker increases the solubility of the compound in aqueous media.
