Strontium-doped lanthanum nickelate can be prepared by combined precipitation and molten salt reactions at 1073K.Lanthanum nickelate, strontium doped can be used in the fabrication of an electrode material with a specific capacitance value of 719 F g−1at a current density of 2 A g−1. It can further be used in the formation of high energy density supercapacitors.
