Fmoc-N-amido-PEG-alcohol, MW 5K is a PEG derivative containing an Fmoc protecting group and a terminal alcohol group. The Fmoc group can be deprotected under basic condition to obtain the free amine which can be used for further conjugations. The alcohol end group can be reacted to further derivatize the compound. The hydrophilic PEG linker increases the water solubility properties of the compound.
