t-Boc-Aminooxy-PEG3-oxyamine is a PEG derivative with a t-Boc protected aminooxy and a terminal amine group. t-Boc can be removed under mild acidic conditions. The terminal oxyamine group can react with an aldehyde to form an oxime bond. If a reductant is used, it will form a hydroxylamine linkage. The hydrophilic PEG linker increases the water solubility of a compound in aqueous media.
