Glycolithocholic acid 3-sulfate

Glycolithocholic acid 3-sulfate (SLCG) is a cholic acid derivative and a metabolite of glycolithocholic acid. Glycolithocholic acid 3-sulfate inhibits replication of HIV-1 in vitro. Glycolithocholic acid 3-sulfate can be used for the research of HIV infection and gallbladder disease In Vitro Glycolithocholic acid 3-sulfate (100 μg/mL) protects MT-4 cells against HIV-1-induced cytopathogenicity. Glycolithocholic acid 3-sulfate (200 μg/mL) shows no toxicity for host cells. Glycolithocholic acid 3-sulfate inhibits HIV-1 antigen expression in HIV-1-infected CEM cells.
