不溶于水，溶于有机溶剂，光照易聚合。良好疏水性，易于发生聚合反应，柔韧性佳 原油降凝剂、织物整理剂、皮革助剂、内增塑剂、吸油树脂、具有"温度开关"特性的智能材料、增稠剂、复鞣加脂剂、流平剂粘合剂、除臭剂、润滑油添加剂、皮革和纤维的整理剂、纸张涂饰剂、油墨、涂料、医药等添加剂。 Miniemulsion polymerization of laurel methacrylate has been reported. Atom transfer radical polymerization and consecutive block copolymerization with methyl methacrylate has been investigated. Preparation of LMA based monolithic columns for CEC has been reported. LMA is used as a co-stabilizer to retard Ostwald ripening effect.
