NNK activates ERK1/2 and PKC α, Simultaneously stimulating Bcl2 phosphorylation in Ser70 and c-Myc in Thr58 and Ser62. NNK can induce the survival and proliferation of human lung cancer cells. NNK can be used to construct a lung cancer mouse model.
