These Tm doped metal oxides are used in supercapacitors and perovskite solar cells. As Tm source to synthesize NaYF4:Yb,Tm upconversion nanocrystal-semiconductor hybrid structures with wide spectrum photocatalytic activity. As a dopant to prepare LaCl3:Tm3+ single crystals for ,use in spectroscopic applications for radiation detection.
