Licochalcone A 是一种强效膜活性剂，可将正常红细胞转化为棘形红细胞。一种具有显著抗肿瘤活性的新型黄酮类化合物。 生化/生理作用： 抑制芽孢形成细菌 枯草芽孢杆菌 和其他食品污染微生物的营养生长。 Licochalcone A, Synthetic is an estrogenic flavanoid originally derived from licorice root (Glycyrrhiza glabra). Licochalcone-A has displayed the ability to reduce Bcl-2 protein expression and induce apoptosis in several human cancer cell lines. Licochalcone-A also induces cell differentiation, exhibits antibacterial, antiinflammatory and antitumor activity. It has been reported to interfere with parasite mitochondrial electron transport chain and energy metabolism, and also to inhibitin vitro growth of the human malaria parasite Plasmodium falciparum. There is also evidence that licochalcone-A can regulate rat vascular smooth muscle cell proliferation.
