辛基三氯硅烷（OTS）是一种线性烷基硅烷，可用作改性剂，用于生成具有高热机械稳定性的低成本疏水表面。OTS包含可水解基团，其与表面羟基形成共价键。 应用 以OTS进行功能化修饰的氧化镁（MnO2)/氧化铝 (Al2O3) 表面可用作臭氧（O3）和二氧化氮（NO2）分解的催化剂。 OTS还可以用于氧化硅（SiO2）的表面改性，用于制造并五苯有机场效应晶体管（OFET）。 以OTS进行功能化修饰的晶片可以涂覆在增强型绿色荧光蛋白（GFP）和锚定肽薄膜上，用于测定薄膜的厚度。
