。含氧52%~54%(原子)。体心立方结构。可溶于40%(质量)氟氢酸中。易为热的浓硫酸、浓盐酸和浓硝酸侵蚀。也可为浓碱侵蚀。与30%(质量)过氧化氢作用生成黄色溶液。为强还原剂。在空气加热时,于150~200℃转变为三氧化二钛。真空中1600℃加热金属钛和二氧化钛混合物、2000℃下氢还原二氧化钛或1000℃下镁还原二氧化钛,均可得到一氧化钛。 一氧化钛具有氧或钛缺位性质,可用作电子材料。
