Photoelectrocatalytic partial oxidation of 2,3,4-trimethoxybenzyl alcohol in aqueous solution irradiated by near-UV light has been investigated in three-electrode batch reactor.2,3,4-Trimethoxybenzyl alcohol was used to introduce a benzyl group onto the 2′-OH of purine ribonucleoside.
