其结构中由于羰基具有强烈的吸电子效应,因而它是一种非质子的极性溶剂,具有高沸点、高闪点、低熔点,在过滤、蒸馏、溶剂萃取等工艺操作中使用方便;毒性极低,对人体危害微不足道,也减少了对环境的污染;由于它具有极强的溶解性,能溶解有机物、无机物、树脂、聚合物等,并对各种试剂具有活化性质,还能与其它高沸点溶剂混溶;具有极好的稳定性,在热的强碱和酸性条件下都很稳定,还具有耐水性及对光、氧的稳定性。因此DMPU应用到有机化学反应中能促进反应物溶解,加快反应速度,提高反应收率,还能替代毒性较大的溶剂。 应用: 使用1,3-二甲基-3,4,5,6-四氢化-2(1H)-嘧啶酮(DMPU): 用作氨的N-烷基化反应 醛糖的氧烷基化反应以及合成聚(芳基醚)的通用溶剂。 作为尿素溶剂,通过芳肼盐酸盐与1,3-二酮合成1-芳香基-3,4,5-取代吡唑。 作为不对称氰化酰胺的添加剂。 DMPU/HF可作为亲核氟化剂在普林斯氟化反应中合成取代4-氟代四氢吡喃和4-氟代六氢吡啶。 多功能溶剂,用于手性伯胺的 N-烷基化反应,醛醣的 O-烷基化反应,以及聚(芳醚)的合成。 Versatile solvent employed in N-alkylation of chiral, primary amines, O-alkylation of aldoses, and in the synthesis of poly(aryl ethers). Application: 1,3-Dimethyl-3,4,5,6-tetrahydro-2(1H)-pyrimidinone (DMPU) can be used: • As a versatile solvent in N-alkylation of amines • O-alkylation of aldoses, and in the synthesis of poly(aryl ethers). • As urea solvent in the synthesis of 1-aryl-3,4,5-substituted pyrazoles by cyclocondensation of arylhydrazine hydrochlorides with 1,3-diketones. • As an additive in asymmetric cyanoamidation. DMPU/HF can be used as a nucleophilic fluorinating agent in fluoro-Prins reaction for the synthesis of substituted 4-fluorotetrahydropyrans and 4-fluoropiperidines. Versatile solvent employed in N-alkylation of chiral, primary amines, O-alkylation of aldoses, and in the synthesis of poly(aryl ethers).
