室温下稳定无气味。本品属哌啶类内吸性杀菌剂。是甾醇分解抑制剂，对白粉菌科特别有效，尤其是禾白粉菌、黑麦孢和柄锈菌，禾谷类作物喷施用量750g/ha。 制备或来源：（1）以叔丁基苯为原料，首先进行酰化反应等三步反应制得4-特丁基苯基异丁醛，然后再与哌啶在甲苯中反应，并用甲酸处理．反应的同时除去水，加热反应后，即制得苯锈啶。
