Description Flumethasone pivalate is a topical difluorinated corticosteroid ester with anti-inflammatory, antipruritic and vasoconstrictive properties. A prompt decrease in inflammation, exudation and itching is experienced after application. It is used to study adrenocortical suppression, plasma transcortin binding, and cutaneous atrophy and telangiectasia.
