There was a decrease in abundance of ribosomal protein observed in Blasticidin A treated A. parasitici. Experiments indicate that Blasticidin A significantly reduced the expression of genes encoding aflatoxin regulatory gene and biosynthetic enzymes (omtA, ver-1, and pksA) in|A. parasiticus.
