Bis[(pinacolato)boryl]methane is an aryl boronate ester.Bis-boronate has been reported by Morken and coworkers to be a key building block in the synthesis of enantioenriched secondary boronate esters, which undergo facile Suzuki-Miyaura coupling with minimal erosion of enantiopurity.
