Shown to modulate the Ca-dependent post-translational regulation of GAP-43. Shown to induce rapid phosphorylation of GAP-43 and stimulate ca-dependent proteolysis of GAP-43. Ganglioside GD1a disodium salt is an inhibitor of PKC.
