It contains Azide groups and can undergo copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition reactions (CuAAc) with molecules containing Alkyne groups. Strain-promoted acetylene-azide cycloaddition reactions (SPAAC) can also occur with molecules containing DBCO or BCN groups.
