Antibody Enhancer is a signal enhancing buffer that can be used for the dilution, stabilization and binding capacity enhancement of concentrated antibodies and conjugated antibodies. The product secures molecular conformation and prevents loss of activity, of the diluent protein, over time. Antibody Enhancer enables users to create prediluted ready-to-use conjugated antibodies (free poly- and monoclonal antibodies, HRP-conjugated antibodies, AP-conjugated antibodies and fluorescence-conjugated antibodies): Reduces background and provides highest signal-to-noise ratio due to the antibody’s enhanced binding capacity. Amplifies 40-80% the specific antibody’s activity without increasing the non-specific binding. Allows for the diluted conjugate to be stored at least 4 years at 2-8 °C. Minimizes assay errors related to daily dilution variation. Limited or expensive conjugates can be further diluted without losing sensitivity. Designed for use in colorimetric as well as in chemiluminescence based assays such as ELISA, Western Blotting and IHC. Composition & Properties The buffer is ready-to-use and BSA free. It contains no azide, mercury or other toxic preservative formulations. Working Procedure 1.Make a series of dilutions of your antibody/antibody conjugate in the Antibody Enhancer in order to determine the optimal dilution factor (the enhancement is significant in dilutions higher than 1:2000, compared to HRP-StabilPLUS (cat. no. H494387)). 2.Run the assay as usual or store the diluted, conjugated protein preferably at 2-8 °C. Tips & Tricks • Antibody Enhancer cannot be used for the dilution of antibodies directed against rabbit immunoglobulins i.e. Swine anti-Rabbit Ig & Goat anti-Rabbit Ig etc. UNI-StabilPLUS (cat. no. U494463) is recommended for this. Handling & Storage • Store solution at 2-8 °C.
