It may be suitable for use in enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) for detecting signal strength emitted by cells.

生化机理

2,2′-次偶氮基双（3-乙基苯并噻唑啉-6-磺酸）（ABTS）是一种非酚类底物。它可能具有抗氧化性能。添加化学增强剂可改善辣根过氧化物酶底物ABTS的检测。ABTS增强剂可将氧化产物的吸光度提高50-150％。这种增加作用可用于提高测定的灵敏度或节省测定成分。
