生化机理

在纺锤体组装检查点信号传递和促进建立正确的动点心轴-微管（K-MT）连接方面具有双重功能。促进形成稳定的端对双极附着。对 BUB1 的动点定位是必要的。在卵母细胞减数分裂过程中调节染色体分离。当纺锤体组装检查点被激活时，BUB1/BUB3 复合物在抑制无性繁殖促进复合物或环体（APC/C）中发挥作用，并通过磷酸化其激活剂 CDC20 来抑制 APC/C 的泛素连接酶活性。该复合物还能磷酸化 MAD1L1。
