生化机理

整合素 ITGAM/ITGB2 与单核细胞、巨噬细胞和粒细胞的各种粘附相互作用以及介导补体包被颗粒和病原体的吸收有关。它与第三补体成分 iC3b 片段的受体 CR-3 相同。它可能能识别 C3b 中的 R-G-D 肽。整合素 ITGAM/ITGB2 也是纤维蛋白原、X 因子和 ICAM1 的受体。它能识别纤维蛋白原γ链的 P1 和 P2 肽。调节中性粒细胞的迁移。与 beta 亚基 ITGB2/CD18 结合，CD177-PRTN3 介导的 TNF 引诱的中性粒细胞活化需要它。可能调节吞噬诱导的外渗中性粒细胞凋亡。可能在肥大细胞发育中发挥作用。需要与小胶质细胞中的 TYROBP/DAP12 共同控制小胶质细胞超氧离子的产生，超氧离子会促进大脑发育过程中发生的神经元凋亡。
