输入蛋白-α的输出受体。在导入底物（货物）释放到核质后，介导导入蛋白-α从细胞核重新导出到细胞质。在细胞核中，它与导入素-α和 GTP 酶 Ran（GTP 结合的活性形式）协同结合。这种三聚体复合物与核孔复合物（NPC）的对接是通过与核蛋白结合来实现的。当核输出复合物转运到细胞质中时，复合物的分解和 Ran-GTP 向 Ran-GDP 的水解（分别由 RANBP1 和 RANGAP1 诱导）会导致输入蛋白-α 从输出受体中释放出来。然后 CSE1L/XPO2 返回核区，介导新一轮的运输。核输出的方向性被认为是由 GTP 和 GDP 结合形式的 Ran 在细胞质和细胞核之间的不对称分布决定的。
