生化机理

细胞表面糖蛋白受体，参与 T 细胞受体（TCR）介导的 T 细胞活化所必需的成本刺激信号。通过至少与 ADA、CAV1、IGF2R 和 PTPRC 结合，充当 T 细胞共激活的正调控因子。它与 CAV1 和 CARD11 的结合可诱导 T 细胞增殖，并以 T 细胞受体/CD3 依赖性方式激活 NF-kappa-B。它与 ADA 的相互作用还能调节淋巴细胞与上皮细胞的粘附。与 FAP 共同参与细胞外基质（ECM）的细胞周蛋白水解、内皮细胞向 ECM 的迁移和入侵。可能参与促进淋巴内皮细胞的粘附、迁移和管形成。过表达时，可增强细胞增殖，而这一过程会受到 GPC3 的抑制。它也是一种具有二肽活性的丝氨酸外肽酶，通过裂解循环中的多肽（包括许多趋化因子、有丝分裂生长因子、神经肽和肽类激素）来调节各种生理过程。从具有未取代 N 末端的多肽中依次去除 N 末端二肽，前提是倒数第二个残基是脯氨酸。
