非受体酪氨酸蛋白激酶，可传递来自细胞表面无激酶活性受体的信号，有助于调节免疫反应，包括中性粒细胞、单核细胞、巨噬细胞和肥大细胞功能、细胞骨架重塑以应对细胞外刺激、吞噬、细胞粘附和迁移。促进肥大细胞脱颗粒、释放炎性细胞因子和 IgE 介导的过敏性休克。作用于结合免疫球蛋白 Fc 区域的受体（如 MS4A2/FCER1B、FCGR2A 和/或 FCGR2B）的下游。作用于 ITGB1 和 ITGB2 的下游，调节肌动蛋白细胞骨架重组、细胞扩散和粘附。根据具体情况，可激活或抑制细胞反应。是单核细胞中 ITGB2 信号传导、吞噬和 SYK 活性的负调控因子。中性粒细胞和巨噬细胞正常的 ITGB1 和 ITGB2 信号传导、正常的细胞扩散和粘附都需要它。作为细胞迁移的正向调节因子，通过 RAC1 激活调节细胞骨架重组。体外磷酸化 SYK，促进 SYK 依赖性激活 AKT1 和 MAP 激酶信号传导。在抗原刺激的肥大细胞中磷酸化 PLD2，导致 PLD2 激活并产生信号分子溶血磷脂酸和二酰基甘油。促进 PIK3R1 的活化。磷酸化 FASLG，从而调节其泛素化和随后的内化。磷酸化 ABL1。促进 CBL、CTTN、PIK3R1、PTK2/FAK1、PTK2B/PYK2 和 VAV2 的磷酸化。磷酸化已被 SYK 磷酸化的 HCLS1，但不磷酸化未磷酸化的 HCLS1。
