蛋白酪氨酸激酶，是多种细胞表面受体复合物的一部分，但显然需要一个核心受体才能与配体结合。它是神经胶质蛋白-受体复合物的重要组成部分，但神经胶质蛋白并不单独与它相互作用。GP30 是该受体的潜在配体。调节外周微管（MT）的生长和稳定。ERBB2 激活后，MEMO1-RHOA-DIAPH1 信号通路会引起细胞膜上 GSK3B 的磷酸化，从而抑制 GSK3B。这就阻止了 APC 和 CLASP2 的磷酸化，使其与细胞膜结合。反过来，与细胞膜结合的 APC 可使 MACF1 定位到细胞膜上，而 MACF1 是微管捕获和稳定所必需的。在细胞核中参与转录调控。与 PTGS2/COX-2 启动子中的 5'-TCAAATTC-3' 序列结合并激活其转录。参与 CDKN1A 的转录激活；该功能涉及 STAT3 和 SRC。参与 RNA Pol I 转录 rRNA 基因，促进蛋白质合成和细胞生长。翻译后：自磷酸化。自动磷酸化以反式发生，即二聚体受体的一个亚基磷酸化另一个亚基上的酪氨酸残基（可能）。配体结合会增加酪氨酸残基上的磷酸化（PubMed:27134172）。通过 SEMA4C 发出的信号会促进 Tyr-1248 处的磷酸化 (PubMed:17554007)。被 PTPN12 去磷酸化 (PubMed:27134172)。
