生化机理

层蛋白是核薄层的组成成分，核薄层是核内膜核质一侧的纤维层，被认为是核膜的框架，也可能与染色质相互作用。层蛋白 A 和层蛋白 C 以等量存在于哺乳动物的核薄层中。在核组装、染色质组织、核膜和端粒动态中发挥重要作用。前维生素 A/C 可加速平滑肌细胞衰老。它的作用是破坏血管平滑肌细胞（VSMCs）的有丝分裂并诱导 DNA 损伤，导致有丝分裂失败、基因组不稳定和过早衰老。
