Chromeceptin是一种可透过细胞的苯并二氢萘基化合物，可阻断3T3-L1细胞中胰岛素诱导的脂肪生成（在20 ng /μl时100％阻断），并选择性抑制HepG2癌细胞的IGF2-（胰岛素样生长因子2）依赖性生长（ IC | 50 | = 29 nM）。Chromeceptin已显示与HepG2细胞中的MFP-2（多功能蛋白2）结合并激活STAT6介导的基因表达，例如IGFBP-1和SOCS-3。 Chromeceptin is a cell-permeable benzochromene compound that blocks insulin-induced adipogenesis in 3T3-L1 cells (100% blockage at ≤ 20 ng/μl) and selectively suppresses IGF2- (insulin-like growth factor 2) dependent growth of HepG2 carcinoma cells (IC|50|= 29 nM). Chromeceptin has been shown to bind to MFP-2 (multifunctional protein-2) and activate STAT6-mediated gene expression, such as IGFBP-1 and SOCS-3, in HepG2 cells.
