伴刀豆球蛋白A（conA）是一种结合碳水化合物的蛋白质，能够凝集各种动物细胞。还用于将肿瘤细胞的生长模式恢复到正常细胞的模式。T淋巴细胞激活剂。具有金属离子、α-D-甘露糖和α-D-葡萄糖的结合位点。pI为 4.5-5.5。处理说明为了溶解，缓慢地将ConA加入10mMHEPES缓冲盐水、100μMCaCl₂、pH8.5的溶液中。让凝集素在没有搅拌的情况下溶解。溶解后，分装并冷冻（-20℃）或加入0.08%的NaN₃，冷藏（4℃ ）。储存溶液在-20℃下稳定可达6个月，在4℃下稳定可达3个月。产品应用来自Canavaliaensiformis（杰克豆）的刀豆素A可以用于：体外细胞繁殖和细胞周期评估淋巴细胞繁殖脾细胞培养注：凝集活性是在25°C下孵育1小时后凝集2%人红细胞悬液的最低浓度；需要A型人血。 *产品仅用于科学研究或者工业应用等非医疗目的，不可用于人类或动物的临床诊断或治疗，非药用，非食用。

生化机理

D-mannose specific lectin. Displays antiviral activity and therefore may contribute to defense against infections. Miscellaneous Binds one manganese (or another transition metal) ion and one calcium ion. The metal ions are essential for the saccharide-binding and cell-agglutinating activities. Displays strong antiviral activity against herpes simplex virus type 1 (MIC=0.32 ug/ml) and the rubella virus (MIC=7.2 ug/ml).
