It is used by the cells to produce proteins. Product Application D-TRYPTOPHAN can be used to culture human embryonic kidney cells (HEK-293, ATCC: crl-1573). The product is a sweetener, which is used to study the release of incretin in intestinal endocrine cells induced by sugar, but not by sweetener. D-Tryptophan has been used to study its efficacy on dispersing biofilm in dental unit waterlines (DUWLs) in vitro.
