Iodoacetyl-LC-Biotin is a sulfhydryl-reactive biotinylation reagent that forms stable, irreversible thioether bonds when reacting with with sulfhydryls (-SH) group at alkaline pH. The hexylenediamine spacer arm gives this reagent the membrane-impermeability which enables intracellular labeling of biomolecules.
