生化机理

从Arachis hypogaea （花生）中提取的凝集素对 Thomson − Friedenreich 抗原的 β -D-Gal(1-3)-D-galNAc 残基具有特异性。在许多鳞状细胞癌诊断和预后中，是最广泛使用的标志物。花生凝集素不会凝集正常的人类红细胞，但会强烈凝集神经氨酸酶处理的红细胞。花生凝集素具有与人血清中的抗 T 抗体相似的有效抗 T 活性。凝集素可用于区分人淋巴细胞亚群。
